All CLASSIC Mixers feature:

• Rugged Dura-Mix motor designed for long life
• One-piece aluminum housing
• Explosion-proof motors are available

Direct-Drive Mixers for High-Shear Applications

• Motor and shaft are coupled directly with pilot and keyway for accurate alignment and positive connection
• Positive chuck grips the mixer shaft to prevent unintentional shaft release
• Welded rigid coupling provides added stability on longer shafts

Choice of mount styles

• Clamp Mount
  • adjusts 90° vertically, 360° horizontally
  • indexed ball and socket permits precise duplication of settings
  • clip mount option available for high-shear small-batch applications
• Fixed mount for open tanks
  • for large tanks and continuous processes requiring extra-long shafts
  • shock mounts protect drive against high fluid forces
• Fixed mount for closed tanks
• with removable coupling for added stability in applications requiring long overhung shafts
• ASA 150# series flanges are available in solid steel or faced with 316 SS
• 60 psig stuffing box
• Optional stuffing box for lower pressures
• Available with low-maintenance double mechanical seals

Clamp-Mount Air-Drive Mixers for use in flammable or explosive environments

• 1/3-, 1 and 3-hp models available
• Lightweight, easy to handle
• Optional system filters air supply, regulates pressure and automatically adds oil to lubricate motor

Gear-Drive Mixers for High-Flow Applications

• Single reduction internal helical gears provide high torque
• Grip springs provide a keyless friction clutch to protect the gears against shock loads
• Shaft, motor bearings and gears are lifetime lubricated for continuous service

Fixed-mount XL Series mixers for large vessels up to 15,000 gals. (60,000 liters)

• Depending on horsepower selection, available in speeds as high as 191 rpm and as low as 44 rpm
• Available with motors from 1 to 5 HP
• Increase or decrease mixer speeds as process requirements warrant by simply changing gear sets
• Explosion-proof model available
• Bearings and gears are lubricated for life
• Standard rigid coupling facilitates installation of lower shaft and turbine
• Shafts up to 15 feet in length can be specified
• Optional angle risers eliminate the need for baffles in open tanks
